A week after his death, University City Deputy Police Chief Ernest Green has been laid to rest. Green was buried Monday at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Pagedale.
He died last Monday of brain cancer. He was 46-years-old.
Earlier Monday, hundreds of mourners turned out for Green's funeral at Florissant Church of Christ. For several hours, a steady stream of people walked in and out of the church, paying their respects.
