Gas Leak, Fireball Reported on Enright Near U City

The leak was reported just before 3 p.m. and details are still coming in.

 

KSDK and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch are reporting that a gas leak near University City in St. Louis was responsible for a 30-40 foot fireball. 

According to the Post-Dispatch, firefighters from St. Louis and University City responded shortly before 3 p.m. on Thursday to a gas leak and fire in the 5600 block of Enright Avenue.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

KSDK is reporting that St. Luke's Plaza Apartments have been evacuated while crews lay down lines to control the situation.
