Four People File for City Council; One for School Board
The following individuals registered for the Municipal Election on Tuesday. Ward 1: Carol Wofsey & Terry Crow. Ward 2: Jan Adams & Paulette Carr.
One incumbent and three new candidates made official their intention to run in April's municipal elections Tuesday morning, the first day they could register to get on the ballot.
Councilmember in Ward 1. .
Jan Adams and Paulette Carr will run for City Council in Ward 2. No word if Councilmember Lynn Ricci will run for re-election.

On the first day of filing no one submitted paperwork to run for City Council in Ward 3. No word if Councilmember Arthur Sharpe Jr. will run for re-election.
Candidates have until January 17, 2012 to register for the April 3, Municipal Election.

Tuesday was also the first day for candidates to file for the school board in University City. Linda Peoples, who was elected to a three-year term in 2009, was the only candidate to file on Tuesday.
