Food Fight: Where Are the Best Wings Around?

Ahead of the Super Bowl, Mid-County Patch sites want to know where to get the best chicken wings.

Welcome to "Food Fight," a column aimed at finding the best foodie finds in the mid-county area — Webster, Kirkwood, Maplewood, Brentwood, Clayton, Richmond Heights, Rock Hill, University City and Warson Woods.

The weekly Food Fight is meant to be a way for readers to pick and vote on their favorite places to get certain entrees in the area. Each week, we will ask you to tell us your favorite place to get a cup of coffee or a salad or breakfast.

This week we're looking for the best chicken this side of the Super Bowl. We want to know: Where is the best place in Mid-County to get wings?

You can let us know your favorite spot by commenting below. You will be able to submit your vote through 5 p.m. Tuesday.

From there, we will post your nominations in an article Wednesday morning. Then it will be time to vote again—this time for the "Food Fight" champion.

Voting will continue through 5 p.m. Thursday, and we will announce the winner first thing Friday morning.

If you are really pulling for a certain restaurant, share this column on Facebook and Twitter and ask your followers to vote.

This column is all about hearing from you!

So, without further ado, lets get the voting started. Patch readers, tell us by commenting below, where is the BEST place to get wings in mid-St. Louis County?

Schnucks in Webster Groves has the best wings. We have friends who come 20 miles away to buy the ones at their Salad Bar. Their hot and sweet combination is killer.
