When's the last time someone read you a story? Join other grownups Friday at the U City Public Library for a fun lunchtime event, where entertainer Brother Dre will share his humorous stories. Bring your lunch, and the library will provide drinks and dessert.

U CITY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA HONORS NORMAN GOLDBERG
The University City Symphony Orchestra will put on a special concert Sunday at B'nai El Congregation in Frontenac, as a tribute and memorial to Norman Goldberg, who helped found the orchestra fifty years ago. The program includes an orchestra arrangement by Norman Goldberg of the organ piece, Prelude in C minor by J. S. Bach.

ST. LOUIS CHAMBER CHORUS PERFORMS IN U CITY
On Sunday, the St. Louis Chamber Chorus will pay its first ever visit to Washington University's 560 Music Center, which is located in University City. The Chorus will perform a concert, titled “A Mentor’s Memory.” The program will feature a series of works highlighting the relationships between celebrated classical composers and their most influential teachers, according to the Chamber Chorus website. Prior to the concert, the audience will hear from two expert musicologists, Hugh Macdonald and Craig Monson - both Wash U professors. Ticket required.
