Type of Camp: SummerQuest unites outstanding programs and state-of-the-art facilities to provide a fun-filled summer camp experience. With an awesome selection of activities and sports, SummerQuest has revolutionized the traditional day camp experience and promises six weeks of fun! The fields and courts of Shaw Park, the fabulous air-conditioned facilities at the Center of Clayton and the new and renovated art, music, science labs and theater facilities at Clayton High School are three good reasons to call SummerQuest St. Louis’ best day camp.

Dates: SummerQuest runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. There are three sessions for students entering Kindergarten through sixth grade. Session I is from June 10-21, session II is from June 24-July 5 and session III is from July 8-19. SummerQuest for students entering seventh or eighth grade is from July 8-19.

Yoga camp will incorporate the use of music, literature, crafts, and games to teach children the joy of an asana (physical posture) yoga practice. Thsi camp fosters self-awareness, kindess to others, cooperatve learning, and just plain fun! Instructor is Bethany Begosian, Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and elementary school teacher. Bethany has a specialty certification in the Yoga to Grow children's yoga program.

Cost: $190 members/residents; $210 non-residents
Offered by The Fencers' Academy, this camp is geared towards athletes with little or no experience in fencing, while still challenging the experienced participant. Fencing is a sport that develops athleticism, critical thinking, sportsmanship, and competitiveness, while providing kids with a dynamic and creative outlet for their energies. Its intensity and fast pace will keep them coming back for more! Coach Hossam, former coach of the Olympic National team has trained many international ranked fencers. He is joined by Coach Nehal Hassan and Coach Phillip Ferko, who are the highest-ranked saber and epee fencers in St. Louis. A tournament will be held at the end of camp. Medals, t-shirts, and certificates are all included in the cost of camp.
Youth Karate Summer Camp

Sensei David Cloud, a 7th Degree Black belt returns to The Center of Clayton for another year of summer camp! Kids will build self-confidence, balance, pride, strength, and security. Uniforms are required and will be available at the first class for an additional charge from the instructor.
Summer Camp at the Mid County Family YMCA

Cost: $105 - $350 per week for members and $140 - $385 per week for non members.
Camp hours are 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with extended care available from 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. for an additional fee. Please note there is no camp on July 4 or Memorial Day. To help you and your children prepare for camp, the Mid County Family YMCA is hosting a Parent Orientation on May 23 from 6:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m.
Brentwood Baseball Academy

Ozzie Smith's Sports Academy Baseball Camp

Ozzie Smith Sports Academy Baseball Camp is for players ages 6 - 16. Campers will learn hitting, pitching, infield & outfield play, base running, run-downs, cut-offs, and sliding. All campers should bring their own hat, gloves, bat, cleats or tennis shoes, sunscreen, water bottle and snack. Mini-Hitters, ages 4 & 5 meet 8:30-10 am. Paul Zarky Metro Strikers Summer Soccer Camp

Paul Zarky Metro Strikers Summer Soccer Camp for ages 4-12 is a fun camp designed to teach fundamentals of the game through game-play, game situations, side-games and drills. With a focus on fast footwork, cover moves, passing and receiving, players are encouraged to achieve their highest level of play. Camp is Monday-Thursday, 9-11:15am, under the direction of Paul Zarky, former professional soccer player & collegiate All-American. Please bring your own appropriate size soccer ball. At our fantastic outdoor art camp in beautiful Tower Grove Park, days are filled with theme-related arts and crafts plus story time, sing-a-long, active games, park exploration, water play and more. Each camp has a unique theme, so no two camps are alike! Summer Camp is open to campers entering K-6th Grades. (Campers must be age 5 by May 1, 2013 and entering Kindergarten.) Camp is Monday – Friday from 9AM – 3PM. Cost is $165 per week. (Sibling discount: $150 per additional registration) Each camper MUST be registered separately. Extended Care options are available: AM Care is 7:30AM – 9AM for $25/week; PM Care is 3PM – 6PM for $50/week.
