Who knew garbage bags and duct tape could be so...cute?
As a trusty Patch editor, I'll be modeling this dress down the staircase in the lobby of the Moonrise Hotel at the Salvation Army's Garbage Bag Gala, a fundraiser to help the homeless and prevent homelessness.
If you'd like to see me and other St. Louis locals wearing our garbage bag best, come see us in action at the Garbage Bag Gala at 7 p.m. July 27.

Forgot to mention, though, it does look great! My niece has made some really cool purses/bags entirely out of duct tape.
