Divorce Court Judge to Speak at UCHS on Thursday
Judge Mablean Ephriam will talk give a talk about on the topic of parent and school partnership for student success.
Judge Mablean Ephriam, best known as the former judge on the TV show Divorce Court, will be a guest speaker at on Thursday.
Ephriam will talk to parents about partnering with their child's school to promote student success. Her talk is aimed at high school and middle school parents, but it's open to any parent who wishes to attend.
Ephriam will speak at the UCHS cafeteria at 7:00pm on Thursday, September 1. On Friday, September 2, she'll visit with students and staff at the high school.

Ephriam's talk is part of the Back to School/ Stay in School series, aimed at increasing student attendance.
Since leaving her TV show, Ephriam has become a frequent guest speaker on motivational and relationship topics. She also started the Mablean Ephriam Foundation, which seeks to build stronger families, educate minds, increase economic power and create better communities.

Throughout the year, the high school plans to bring in guest speakers from a range of professions to talk with students about the importance of good attendance and staying in school.
