Funeral arrangements for 12-year-old Demetri Phillips have been set. Demetri died Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Demetri was killed Tuesday after he and a friend found a loaded gun under the friend's grandfather's pillow. The gun went off and Demetri was shot in the head.

Demetri was a sixth-grader at Brittany Woods Middle School, 

Visitation for Demetri will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Archway Memorial Chapel in Hazelwood. The funeral also will be held at Archway at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21.

Demetri's body will be buried at Lake Charles Park Cemetery. Immediately following the burial there will be a service at Bible Way Baptist Church in University City.
