Patch has found some great deals for you this week, including a free concert, great clothes for mom and food for the whole family.

 

ST. LOUIS MUSEUM STORES GARAGE SALE

 Attention Bargain Hunters: Shop for close-out, clearance and almost-one-of-a-kind items from St. Louis-area attraction gift shops. Great deals are available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. It's nearly spring but it's never to early to start holiday shopping. Good Through: March 19, as long as the merchandise lasts. Deal: Items on clearance include souvenirs, clothing, artwork, books and toys.

    BEYERS LUMBER

    Gardening is a great way to spend time together as family and save money while you do it, by planting an herb or vegetable garden. With spring around the corner, it is a great time to get ready.  Good through: April 4, 2011. Deal: Receive 25 percent off a three pound bag of sun and shade grass seed,normally $9.79. Beyers Lumber has solar garden lights for $5.99(two per package). 

    Beyers Lumber also has a link to Winter Sown, a non-profit network to share heirloom tomato seeds among others donated to the organization. On the Winter Sown site you may select six of your favorite varieties(they have more than 100 varieties), then send in a self-addressed sealed envelope with two first class stamps and your order form. Your heirloom seeds should arrive in approximately three weeks.

    Good through: The performance is from 8 to 10 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2011. Deal: Band Together is presenting their 14th anniversary concert: Transcendent Journey, FREE, at E. Desmond Lee Concert Hall. The concert is representative of the “transcendent journey” of Band Together and the lives of its musicians.
