Closer Look at Firm Selected to do U City's Annual Audit

The firm Schowalter & Jabouri also performs audit services for Maplewood, St. Peters and Des Peres.

At a meeting on Monday evening, Mayor Shelley Welsch, City Manager Lehman Walker and Councilmembers Stephen Kraft, Lynn Ricci and Arthur Sharpe voted to contract the audit services of Schowalter & Jabouri P.C. The vote is contingent on the city manager and the city attorney reviewing the contract.

Maximum Fees

The maximum fees for professional services rendered based upon approximately 440 hours for each year

  • Year Ending June 30, 2013 - $39,000

The fee includes single audit if required, all typing, printing and binding of reports and all out-of-pocket expenses.
