Avant Marketing to Begin Focus Group Meetings With U City Residents
Avant Marketing Group is holding two focus group discussions, comprised of U City residents, this evening.
The marketing/PR firm recently hired by University City has started carrying out what it describes as one of its first assignments - "to conduct the market research that will lead to an updated brand identity for the City."
Avant Marketing Group will hold two focus group discussions this evening with a group of U City residents. A third discussion group will meet tomorrow night. It appears attendees were invited to take part by Avant. Some participants were recommended to Avant by U City councilmembers.
According to information obtained by University City Patch, the sessions will run about an hour-and-a-half and include no more than 20 participants. An Avant official will moderate the discussions.
Avant will focus on the following questions:
- What makes University City what it is today
- What you like about the City
- What you might like to see change
- What you see for the future of the City
Avant Marketing Group has been hired for a one-year contract worth $100,000.
