Ackert Park to Hold Public Picnic to Celebrate Nursing Home Week

Public picnic will be held from 2-4 p.m. today.

 

In celebration of National Nursing Home Week, Ackert Park Skilled Care Community in University City will host a free public picnic in the building’s parking lot.

The entire University City community is invited to attend the event. The Mayor, City Council members, members of the University City Police Department and University City Fire Department along with other city dignitaries also have been invited.

The picnic event will include raffles and prizes and a free hot dog lunch. The event will also mark Ackert’s second anniversary and will include a ceremony to honor employees.

Ackert Park Skilled Care Community is operated by Future Focus of U-City.
