The 2012 Ms. Missouri Senior America Pageant will be held at the Florissant Civic Center Theater, #1 James J. Eagan Drive (Parker Road at Waterford), Florissant, MO 63033, on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 2 p.m.

Veronica Hilyard, a University City resident, will be a contestant in this pageant.  She is a talented opera singer, and will be singing the aria "O Mio Babbino Caro" from Puccini's opera, Gianni Schicchi.

As a certified teacher, principal and superintendent of schools, she served public and parochial schools in Missouri, Texas, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Veronica earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership and a master’s degree in Education of the Gifted/Talented.

Dr. Hilyard is chairperson of Maryville University School of Education’s Leadership Council.
